Passion

I bring a life long passion for music, recording and electronics to any project I am involved in.

The knowledge and experience I have is an intricate understanding of how music is crafted and adapted by the recording process and the many devices through which sound is converted and altered as it is made into a recording.

Purpose

Achieving the best possible recordings of the sounds you make is my priority.

I do this by working with you on:

• arranging and instrumental choices for your material
• identifying the best takes of each part or compiling a best take from several takes
• producing high quality mixes for each song
• mastering your material to the highest standards in preparation for physical (CD/Vinyl) and digital release.

Performance

With a background in performance on many instruments, I am able to craft backing tracks that meet the highest standards of performance and creativity.

My performance experience spans orchestral, musical theater, big band, rock, country and many more genres and styles.

As a guitarist, bass player, drummer, and horn player, you have a band-in-a-box at your disposal.

Producer

Planning of your sessions, your mixdowns and mastering are all part of the service.

Helping you to achieve your goals within your budget, such as:

1. accessing musicians for strings or other instruments or groups of instruments,
2. writing arrangements and orchestrations,
3. identifying the most appropriate studio(s) to record in

Teacher

Helping you to achieve your learning goals with instruction in several instruments to intermediate level:

1. Guitar pop and classical stylings,
2. Bass Guitar,
3. Drums and percussion.
4. Other instruments by agreement only (Banjo, Mandolin, Brass, Winds).
